Emmitt House
Waverly, OH     45690
In 1989 a year long restoration project was completed and the Emmitt House, listed on the National Historic Register, was restored to resemble its birth in 1861. Formerly an Inn on the Ohio-Erie Canal, and now a restaurant, the Emmitt House offers fine food and drink, and is the center of many and varied community activities. Dances, amateur nights, comedy performances, tournaments, even physics will make appearances throughout the year. If your tastebuds long for a great steak or any other of the varieties of fine foods and spirits on their menu, thrown in with the ambience of days gone by, this is the place for you! Come and join us and as always Strangers Welcome! Closed on Sundays, open Monday through Saturday for lunch and dinner, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
