Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad (SUMMIT County) The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad is a great way to see the natural beauty of the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area. The 26 mile long trip travels between Cleveland and Akron aboard a first generation diesel locomotive.

Mill Creek Park (MAHONING County) Mill Creek Park is a source of pride and joy for the Youngstown area and is recognized as one of the nations largest, most natural urban parks. The park encompasses over 2,500 acres, with its boundaries ranging from the heart of Youngstown, southward into Boardman Township. Established in 1891 by VoIney Rogers, Mill Creek Park is the most popular attraction in the Summer months in Youngstown. Among the many trails for hiking, the park also offers picnicking, boating, fishing, a 36-hole golf course, and a par 3 golf Course.
